About Me
Hi, my name’s Doug and I’m a passionate Senior Full Stack Software Developer 🚀 having an experience of building multiple applications with .Net / Node.js / JavaScript / Python. Lately I have been involved in several projects in AWS and other tools such as CI/CD to enable other developers to deliver their products in a efficient and reliable manner. Those projects have instigated in me more interest to learn even more about cloud ☁️ development and infrastructure as code.
I have worked in a number of companies gaining teamwork and leadership skills and in this path I’ve learnt a lot how to offer support to other people in their career development. This part of my job has been very gratifying in my journey. 🙌

Putting my passion about RaspberryPI and coding together in this project.
I started this project as a way if learning more about Python and the OpenCV library to manipulate images and it is growing into a fully fledged app. I have learned many skills through this and been I’m very proud of having this in my portfolio.

Finding the right job or the right candidate is not one of the easiest tasks. Developing tools and intelligence behind the hiring and jobseeking process has been my life in Totaljobs Group for a few years already. I have circulated in various projects and worked with very interesting people in the business. I have been helping in forming teams and developing people during my time in the company. The company also gives me a lot of space for experimentation and learning new technologies.
Look forward
Developing and managing day-to-day operational aspects of medium to large scale projects for some the of the world’s largest organizations. Giving maintenance to existing projects and covering all development workflow for successful implementations; starting from technical specification, tasks estimative, UML documentation, framework generation, management documentation (tasks lists and schedule timeline), development, QA process and other important tasks throughout. Currently developing a new prototype module using social networks APIs as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter; also implementing SEO techniques; and developing the mobile applications for iPhone/iPad and Android devices using cross-platform frameworks (PhoneGap and Titanium Appcelerator).

During my time with OU I’ve learnt how to manage my own time better to study and get the accreditations I aimed for at my own pace. Being an open certificate gave me the flexibility to explore different subjects that I was curious about.
